No not the breakfast but as good as, The Full Scottish is sure to get your blood flowing as all the group take part in this exciting and traditional day … The Mini Highland Games. Don’t worry, we will take ages and abilities into consideration and nobody gets left out.
We start off with a warm up activity to get everyone pumping and in the spirit, a Jimmy hat and a kilt sure wouldn’t go amiss. On the other hand, you could have everyone attend in fancy dress with a specific theme in mind. Without a doubt this is one of the most popular activities for outdoors.

The Claymore is a famous two-edge sword held at waste height until the enemy was in range. Some say it was two-handed, but you get to use one!!
Time for teamwork and brute strength. Its a race against the clock to pull a car across the finish line.
TOSSING THE CABER
We don’t give you the ones used in our traditional games, because it is normally 19 ft 6 inches tall and weighing in at twelve and a half stones. We will have a fun version of it for you.
The sheaf toss began as a traditional Scottish agricultural sport which was normally contested at country fairs.
“Chuckin” is a good old Scottish word for throwing, and we have plenty wellies. Combine the 2, you have a sport. So how far can you hurl a wellie? It is also known as Wellie Wanging”. Timing and tactics will bring the rewards.
Fun and engaging, archery is an activity that has stood the test of time. Can you hold your nerve and score well. This is an activity that is suitable for all ages.
A favourite with large and hairy highlanders the world over. An authentic Mini Highland Games addition in all respects as you throw real life axes, sharp as well, at tree stump targets of different sizes and levels.

This is one of the most popular and best outdoor activities which includes the likes of the caber toss, hammer throw, sheaf toss and lazy stick. Don’t worry, you don’t have to be Wonder Woman or the Hulk to take part. It is the spirit that makes Mini Highland Games special. However, we can design it to be as competitive as you like.
The Full Scottish Highland Games are designed around the real thing, with the fun element built in. Try the famous Tossing the Caber. We wont give you telegraph poles but you still have the flip them over. Chuckin’ Wellies, well it is much more fun that doing the shot putt. Our own take on the high jump will have you hurling straw over the bar rather your body.
